CASA DE LOS FILABRES

Casa De Los Filabres is a modern, luxury mountain view villa with 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (including an exterior bathroom), and a huge 10m x 5m saltwater pool.  Private and perfectly located in a small hamlet, but close to the town of Albox and surrounded by amazing views of the Los Filabres mountain ranges.  ​ A full Meet and Greet Service is provided by our management company.  Also included is WiFi, premium UK TV, towels (beach and bath) and linen and full clean before and after rental. ​ The villa is completely private with electric gates and a sweeping drive leading to space for multiple cars.  The villa is all on one level on a massive 2500 m2 plot with a large secluded open terrace around the pool, perfect for sun bathing and relaxing.  ​ The area does not have local public transport, so you will need to have a hire car, available from all airports. ​ This spacious and light three double bedroom villa is equipped with all amenities including air conditioning, fully enclosed and netted fly free dining area, outside terraces, pergola, fitted kitchen and large lounge/diner.    ​ The villa is just five minutes' drive from the market town of Albox which has everything necessary for day to day needs (bars, restaurants, banks, supermarkets, pharmacy, modern health centre, shops). Albox holds their weekly street markets each Tuesday and Saturday.   ​ Locally, the areas is perfect for cycling, walking and horse riding.   ​ The outside space at the villa has a substantial sunbathing patio around the large 10x5m pool. There is a soft seated area (corner lounge dining set), stone seated set and cushioned sun loungers.  There is a ping pong table and darts board.    ​ All of the bedrooms are accessible from the hallway. There is installed air conditioning, a necessity for the summer months and, for the cooler months also provides warm air. The villa has a free standing wood burner in the centre of the main living/dining area plus underfloor heating.  All windows are double glazed and have fly screens and storm shutters.   ​ The villa has Wi-Fi which is fully included in the rental. Entertainment is provided with premium TV, a selection of board games, Xbox and 60 games.  There is a Samsung Bluetooth music speaker,  DVDs and books.  Outside is a ping ping table and darts board. ​ The master bedroom overlooks the rear garden.  It has a superking size bed and leads into the en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and bidet plus heated towel rail. Two furthur bedrooms (one with king sized bed has its own ensuite with shower, basin & WC) and one twin bedroom has a large family bathroom. Additionally, there is an exterior bathroom with shower, basin and WC.   ​ The kitchen is fully equipped with all cook and table ware along with fitted electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, extractor fan, microwave, fridge, freezer, pod coffee machine,  filtered water tap, granite worktops and central island with seating as well as a separate utility room complete with sink and washing machine.   ​ At the back of the villa just off the kitchen there is a fly free screened dining courtyard with adjustable overhead sunshade and BBQ and soft cushioned dining set. There is also a seated area with fruit trees to enjoy the early morning sunshine.  ​ The spacious L-shaped lounge/diner has two large sofas and single arm chair with footstool. There is oak furniture throughout including a very large dining table and chairs.    Weather ​ Almeria has excellent weather all year round with very little rainfall. The temperature rarely drops below 60 degrees fahrenheit even throughout the coldest weeks of winter. ​ Location ​ The villa is perfectly located with just 5 minutes' drive to Albox and is close to  Arboleas, Cantoria and Zurgena.   The larger town of Huercal Overa, with its renowned modern hospital, is approximately 25 minutes away.   ​ Casa De Los Filabres to Albox Central (Plaza Del Pueblo), is 4.7km/3m (Just 5 minutes in the car). ​ Albox is easy to get to from the airport due to the excellent access routes of the E15/A7 motorway.     Some Places of Interest ​ The villa is well placed to visit many places of interest.  It is around 30 minutes from Mojacar and award winning Garrucha beaches, two hours from The Alhambra Palace and Gardens at Granada, one hour from Oasys Mini Hollywood amusement park at Tabernas Desert where many of the spaghetti westerns were filmed (highly rated on Trip Advisor).  Baza lake with its spring baths is located approximately one hour away ​ Beach The med coast resorts and beaches at Mojacar, Vera and Garrucha are both approximately a 30 minute drive away (60km/35m). ​ Ski The Sierra Nevara Ski resort is just a 2 hours drive away, 21 lifts serve 107 km of piste. A halfpipe was added to the snowpark Sulayr in 2011 (165m long and 6m high). It is the biggest in Spain ​
